We are all just about over our jet lag
and everyone is healthy, today! Our first two presentations went
extremely well. Yesterday we presented to 350-400 juveniles at Pollsmoor
Prison and 9 inmates accepted Christ! They will be discipled by
community volunteers who volunteer evenings, weekly. This venue was
outside under a tarp with lots of wind and overcast skies. It started to
rain heavily within several minutes after packing all the equipment into
the Kombi (van).
Last night we presented to approx. 200 male and female cadets from
Chrysalis Academy who will be future leaders of So. Africa. A clear
description of salvation was given during the close. The seeds were
sown. So far this is a new story to 99% of those who attend, praise God!
Today is a beautiful day - high 60s. Tonight we are excited to share
this story with hundreds of teens at Meadowridge Baptist.
God Sightings:
- 9 inmates receive Christ
- God withholding the rain until the presentation was over and equipment
loaded at Pollsmoor Prison
- Diagnosis of mechanical problem with our Kombi (CV joint) and quick
repair this afternoon
- Several opportunities to talk to people in the mall during lunch about
At Any Cost with invitations to attend
The team continues to bond. Keeping short accounts with each other. Not
staying up too late as we have been exhausted. Our personal and team
devotions in James 1-2 this past few days have been right on target with
our current experiences and have been very special. A different team
member leads the devotion time each day for at least an hour.
We see the evidences of your prayers. Please continue and may God bless
you for your important partnership with us!
at any cost,
Dave for Donna and the Team
