The following comments represent
some of the many that we receive after our performances. They came
from adults, children, missionaries, pastors, new Christians, and long-time
Christians.
While I have known the missionary story
since I was a young child, I must tell you that the recent At Any Cost
presentation at our church was the first time that our family had seen the
musical message. Everyone walked away impacted. My two-year old is addicted
to the CD "of the movie we saw", and insists on listening to it whenever we
are in the van. Since we do a lot of driving, she knows many of the words
and sings the songs constantly! My 7-year-old loves to walk around singing,
"At any cost, my own life is lost..." and asks me questions like, "Did that
story really happen?" My 11-year-old immediately wanted to know how Marj
[Saint] felt when she heard the news that her husband was dead. My
14-year-old, who has run from God, was and is mesmerized. My 16-year-old has
been impacted. My husband can't get the At Any Cost song out of his head. As
for me, God has shown me a different angle - the widow's angle. The
fatherless-child's angle. You see, my family relates to this story
differently than most. It was nine years ago that God used cancer to take my
husband home to be with him, leaving me a widow at the age of 31, with four
children, ages 2, 5, 7, and 9. God is the giver of life, and the taker. All
with a purpose - His purpose. Thank you for giving God your all in this
wonderful ministry!
I want to thank
you for your commitment to see this presentation effectively communicated to
the nations! My family was also greatly impacted for God. Our son Joey (age
7) has said several times since the night we saw At Any Cost at Sunrise that
he too wants to be a missionary. Yea God!

What impressed me as much as the actual
story was the team of youngsters you have coached. If they had presented
that evening in Chinese and I had not understood a word I would still have
been profoundly affected - by their very demeanor and spirit/attitude, which
I felt was such a good advert for God. The love and life of Jesus was
expressed through them, by the enabling of the Holy Spirit and the whole
time really glorified Jesus - who so deserves it!
We really appreciate your effort / message
/ attitude / service! God Bless.
I love this story! It's long been dear to my heart. Thanks for bringing it
to the masses. It speaks to me each time I see it.
What an awesome job you guys are doing in the name of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. Keep up the Great Work.
Emotional, powerful presentation. Incredible story, I wouldn't believe it if
it weren't so very true. I'm a long way from being like those men and women.
I really want to get more involved with missions because I know that's what
God's calling me to do. Great job. A great witness to everyone.
Verbalize my faith to a friend, etc. My best friend is Mormon and I've
always been afraid for fear of losing him. Thank you.
This showed me that I have to serve God in every way possible. Keep
spreading the Word!!
Commit my life to serve God where He may lead. The Lord is in charge. 100%
A+. Great presentation. The Holy Spirit touched my heart through your words
and songs.
Commit my life to serve God and verbalize my faith to a friend, etc. You all
did a wonderful job - it was very inspiring!
I've been a full time missionary for 12 years. These last few days I've felt
the Lord challenging me to a new level of trust. I've said in the past, "at
any cost" - seems like it's time to say it again. I've flown many people to
Palm Beach (I'm an MAF pilot). Your presentation is the first time I've seen
a "new anointing" on what some consider an old story.
This event changed my whole life. I am on the mission field because God
chose to use this to turn my life in a whole new direction. I have never
regretted my decision to follow Him. He is God. Thank you for bringing it
all back again.
Very, very challenging. Thank you for this ministry. I am a missionary at
least in part because of those men.
Take a new step of faith in my walk with Christ, to go back to my original
call. To not have ANY geographical limitation. To do what I have planned to
do: a brochure about Rachel Saint's life.
Confess an area of self-centeredness in my life. Get rid of weights that
hold me down, and my family.
Hospital Vosandes Construction Office "Project Life," retired engineer here
2 years. Wife, a nurse in the same hospital, died last year - I'm continuing
- at some cost - at any cost??
Thank you for being "gutsy" enough to come challenge people who have lived
next door to the story you've presented. I spent 3 years living in Shell,
teaching at the Nate Saint School. Being reminded of the greatness of our
God, the tragedy of life, and the cost involved is valuable. Thank you so
very much!
Take a new step of faith in my walk with Christ. This presentation has made
me confront my perceived limits about giving my all. It's made me pray
tonight - "Yes, Lord, at any cost." A wonderful and inspiring presentation -
beautifully presented. Thank you for sharing this story to make us think and
pray and do - go and keep presenting this story - it is powerful and will
continue to do GREAT things!
This morning I talked to the Lord about "the rest of my life." Having served
the Lord until normal retirement, I need to know "what's next." The prayer
in Psalm 61:2 caught my attention "Lead me to the road that is higher than
I." That is …to absolute dependence on Him in the new stretch of life and
service. Choices. You added to my morning prayer…AT ANY COST. Thank you for
being His message tonight, to all of us!
Take a new step of faith/risk in my walk with Christ.
Commit my life to serve God where He may lead, at any cost. This has been my
heart's desire for a long time. Occasionally I'm made aware of the cost.
More often I'm made aware of His cost in loving me. I love Him and want to
be His Child forever At Any Cost. May the Lord bless this group for their
presentation of the amazing story, and the challenge it affords.
I want to serve God at ANY cost.
Take a step of faith in my walk with Christ, to just be willing to obey my
Lord in everything. From the bottom of my heart I thank each of you for
reminding me of my obligation to a Savior who died for me and owns me.
Confess an area of self-centeredness/self-indulgence in my life.
Take a new step of faith in my walk with Christ. Spend our furlough year
serving God in a new ministry (out of our comfort range) and away from all
of our children.
I have been personally involved through the friendship of Marj Saint Van Der
Puy, Betty Elliot, and Barbara Youderian. Our dear Rachel Saint was so dear
to us - my husband and I felt called to missions and were preparing for
ministry in January 1956 in Chicago at MBI. The presentation is excellent -
please continue in this ministry - God is honored.
Keep up the GOOD work - as we responded to the message of the death of the 5
men 35 years of age - may many more continue to do so - we serve in the
jungle area, including among the WAORANI.
This was a marvelous presentation, accurate in story, powerful in
interpretation and we thank you for coming and telling us in a new way.
Missionaries here for 36 years.
This was a great reminder of why God called my husband and I to be
missionaries in 1975. God bless you and continue to use you mightily.
It's true. It made me have tears in my eyes. Keep on doing it. It was great.
I'm in grade 5, age:10.
Reaffirm my desire to give "at any cost" with my life to God. Great
presentation. You put a new and interesting perspective in a story I am very
familiar with, having lived in Shell for 3 years. Say "Hi" to the folks in
Shell for me. Thanks so much!
Take a new step of faith/risk in my walk with Christ. Pray for me.
I just need to serve Christ more than I am.
Commit my life to serve God where He may lead.
Sometimes we are scared to talk anywhere about God, so we have to put our
faith in first place and go ahead. Your work is excellent, please continue
helping to save many souls for Christ.
Continue on with eyes only on Christ, not me.
Continue to seek the opportunity to be in full-time ministry/missions. Great
voices! What a wonderful ministry opportunity. I could see your sincerity in
your faces - seeing you mean it! God bless you in your ministry.
Commit my life to serve God wherever, and get involved in a serving ministry
in my church. Good job! I am very happy that you have all taken a risk to
listen to God through "At Any Cost." God bless!
I Corinthians 15:58 - Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work
of the Lord; knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
I would like to commend you all on a fine presentation and an effective
challenge to serve the Lord in a more steadfast way. Thank you for coming to
our church.
An excellent presentation and we thank you so much for coming. I know this
will or maybe has changed your lives as it has mine too. We pray for your
group and your future as servants of Jesus Christ.
